Purvale BoladaCharacter type: Trader Appearance: Slightly robust, more muscle than flab, Purvale is wizened faced, darkly tanned man, with kind eyes. He may appear to be slow moving because of his barrel chest and short legs, but he is in fact very quick on his feet. Personality: A stern man, Purvale keeps a tight reign over his band of traders, making sure everything is on the up and up. He has his family's reputation to uphold and will do so at all costs. The flip side of his sternness is the way he cuts loose and encourages fun and merriment but only when appropriate. Don't cross this man, you will regret it. History: Born a trader, he's travelled all his life and followed in his father's footsteps taking over the leadership when his father stepped down. He's not had an easy life, trying to fill his father's shoes. He's had to deal with a renegade in his band, turning him out for dealing in crooked gambling repeatedly. He ending up killing the man, his own cousin, and Purvale has never quite forgiven himself for not handling the situation better. He's been married three times. Each time his wife has died in child birth and he swears to never marry again. Two of the children from the women lived, a boy and a girl. He's very protective of them, even as adults.
